Tips To Choose Hair Oil

Hair oils are must for beauties. Services are to made regularly for the hair using different virtues of natural essential oils like shea butter, sesame, jojoba, argan. But, basic think is that we should have to know how to use it. It is important to know which oil suit your hairs, which type of hair do you have and so on.

Which oil for which type of hair?

For dry, curly, frizzy or dull hair, select an intense nutrition oil to moisturize deeply into the scalp and hair. Have an attempt to apply pre shampoo and daily care Rene Furterer. You get a brightness, softness and flexibility at your dating. Oil Shea Nutrition intense Rene Furterer or very sensual Essence Absolue Shu Uemura Art of Hair with Camellia oil or Moroccan oil becomes your favorite hair oil

For colored, permed, broken hair, you have to select a rejuvenating and revitalizing oil to clear off your hair damages and help to fight against products disrespectful of hair in the coloring or permanent. Then make your favorite revitalash hair oil for daily care.

For normal hair, dry oil is suggested for normal hair which protects hair from external aggressions such as pollution, wind, chlorine, sea water. If you put into daily care, then you get a hair ultra shiny and silky!

For oily hair, you must have to choose oil that rebalances the sebum secretion. It will dry clean the scalp without weighing the hair. Care based dry oil grape seed or hazelnut is preferred for under rebalancing

Tips to identify good skin care products

From grocery stores, to department stores, to spas...it seems everywhere we look there are skin care lines claiming to solve all of our problems. How do we know the difference between what works and what is a waste of money?

Dr. Diana Howard, Vice President of the International Dermal Institute, explains a few factors to consider when looking for a skin care line.

Justify FullContamination-free packaging
This means no jars! Every time you dip your fingers into a jar, you are contaminating the product with bacteria. Not only will you spread that bacteria on your face with each application, but it's also decreasing the effectiveness and longevity of the product. Look for tubes or pumps that allow for little air to enter.

Ingredients to avoid
Many skin care lines use ingredients that can irritate your skin. Why? Usually because they are cheap to obtain and many consumers don't know any better! Dr. Howard warns of these in particular:
  1. Fragrance- A known irritant, fragrance serves no benefit to your skin. Sometimes thousands of elements can go into making 1 ingredient, so it is likely that one of those elements may cause irritation. Why include it if it doesn't help your skin?

  2. Lanolin- Although the production of Lanolin has been cleaned up over the years, it can sometimes trigger eczema.

  3. Mineral Oil- A byproduct of the petroleum industry! Mineral Oil is often listed as comedogenic (meaning it can clog the pores), but is a cheap solvent to obtain, and therefore commonly used.

  4. SD Alcohol- This ingredient is commonly found in products for oily skin because of its drying capabilities. The problem? It is overly drying, which means your skin will compensate by producing even more oil. It also compromises your barrier layer, which causes skin to become more sensitized and irritated.
Beware of products promising to "erase wrinkles" or "cure acne". There is no magic ingredient (otherwise everyone would be using it)! Honest companies want to help you maintain the skin you have, and will avoid over promising and under delivering.

Expert skincare tips and tricks

Expert skin care advice, and insider pro tips and tricks.

A Solid Skin Care Routine.

Double Cleanse- Start with a cleansing milk and follow with a cleanser that does not contain soap. Apply the cleanser with a brush to gently deep cleanse.

Tone- Apply a toner to restore the skin's ph balance immediately. He says it takes 20 minutes for skin to re balance without a toner.

Serum- Apply a serum to protect the skin and prepare it for other treatments. He says a serum is like an undergarment for the face.

Moisturize- Apply eye, face, and neck creams.

Exfoliate- Occasionally exfoliate face and neck with an at-home peel to instantly get spa-quality results that make skin glow.

Masks- Occasionally apply a firming, toning mask and leave it on for an overnight treatment.

Tricks of the Trade. Williams shares these insider tips and tricks

When applying eye cream, hold the eye area with the ring finger of one hand to hold the skin taut while applying with your other ring finger so as not to stretch the skin.

Apply eye cream on eyes and lips, because eye creams are richer than lip balms. He recommends Sisleya Eye/Lip Cream.

Don't apply eye cream on the eyelid to avoid a greasy eyelid that interferes with makeup.

After applying face cream, press hands against skin and lift to create a suction effect that stimulates blood flow.

If you feel that you've applied too much cream, gently blot with a tissue.

Follow that by gently tapping the fingers all across the face. He calls this "cardio for the face."

Don't neglect your neck. Always apply a neck cream with SPF. He recommends RéVive Fermitif Neck Renewal Cream.

Shiny, ultra-straight hair is a surefire way to create an elegant, sleek look. Aveda's Vice President, Global Creative Director Antoinette Beenders provides expert tips and techniques on how to do this with their new Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener that hits stores this week.

The Flat Wrap Technique.

  1. Brush hair tightly against the scalp and blow-dry at the roots in small sections (about the width of your brush).

  2. First, dry in one direction, then go back and dry roots in the opposite direction.

  3. Next, dry hair from mid-length to ends by placing the brush underneath the hair and holding it taut while blow-drying from above. Move slowly from mid-length to ends with the brush and dryer.

Blowout Tip: Drying the roots first gives a sleeker look and holds the hair straighter at the scalp.

Sleek Ponytail Tip: Slick back hair and create a tight, sleek ponytail. Instead of hair spray, work a few drops of the Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener into palms and slide it over the top of hair for a glossy finish and to tame flyaways.

Dermalogica Exfoliate & Improve Tired Skin

When it comes to exfoliating and improving, two different has been found ranging in their popularity.

There is something about clinical, minimalistic packages for beauty products that wins the customer trust. Perhaps it is the fact that they dont look frivolous, and thus seem result oriented.

Two of the products of dermalogica specially designed to have luminosity skin and smoothed tone has been tried.

One was the Age Smart's Multivitamin Thermafoliant, priced at RM249 for a 75ml tube and the other is ChromaWhite TR C-12 Concentrate, priced at RM409 for a 30ml bottle.

The Thermafoliant is an exfoliant that can be used two to three times a week on damp skin. The product combines magnesium oxide, silica and sodium bicarbonate to form a fine mineral powder as a polisher.

Compared to others in the market, it also contains Vitamin E and pure Vitamin A to help reverse the signs of ageing.

The other ingredients are white leaf, licorice root and soybean seed extracts protect the skin against free radicals and stimulate new collagen formation.

The result found amazing. It seems good for my tired skin. The skin has a fine sheen whenever I apply it twice a week - especially on sleep-deprived days.

The C-12 is rather potent. The silky cream contains a lot of ingredients with scientific names which I can't fathom, such as oligopeptide-34, zinc glycinate and palmaria palmata. The substance lightens and improves skin clarity.

With the use of the heavy-duty exfoliator and the lightening cream, the skin became luminous after a month of religious use, a glowing clarity which made foundation redundant.

Ashley Greene talks makeup tips

While Ashley Greene is mostly known for her amazing acting skills, she is also one of the most beautiful actresses of this generation. In fact, Ashley is up for the 2009 Teen Choice Fresh Face Female award! In this exclusive interview, Ashley shares her beauty tips, the reason behind her haircut, and her crush!

What is your daily beauty regimen?

Ashley: I started using BORBA products... they're amazing and leave my face glowing. My daily regimen usually consists of the BORBA: Age Defying Micro Diamond Cleanser, Elastin Fiber Concentrate, HD Illuminating light effects serum, Orbital Eye Rejuvenator and the Age Defying Advanced Recovery Cream. To get eye makeup off, I use the Lancome remover. I also use the MAC wipes to get all the makeup off before my regimen. And of course sunscreen...usually Kiehl's or Dermalogica. Dermalogica also has a really great "special clearing booster" for spot treatment on blemishes.

Is your regimen any different when you're filming?

It's a little more involved on set with hot towel treatments and Demalogica pre-cleanse to get all that white makeup off. We use a lot Dermalogica products...I love the Microfoliant!

Do you like to wear makeup when not filming, or do you prefer to go natural?

I don't really wear foundation...I prefer tinted moisturizer if anything. Usually after the Borba process I don't need it - my skin is in pretty healthy shape. It's usually Mascara, concealer and lip gloss.

You recently cut your hair (and it looks great!). Was it for your role as "Alice", or something you wanted to do for yourself? Do you prefer it shorter or longer?

Thanks! I cut it to make my hair fit under the Alice wig properly. I didn't have to go quite so short but I figured it's the only time I would EVER do it. I'm a long hair girl... I've had long hair my whole life. It's cute short, but I'll grow it back out.

In your opinion, what makes someone beautiful?

I think a lot of what makes someone beautiful is how a person presents themselves. I was talking to someone the other day about how I find French woman so beautiful... it's something they possess inherently. I feel like when someone has a zest for life they come off vibrant and beautiful.

What are your favorite beauty products?

BORBA (all of which I mentioned) and Dermalogica. I love Matrix sleek products for my hair - they work very well for me. Rose bud lip gloss is the best. YSL has a great illuminating concealer. Shiseido you can't go wrong with either... their tinted moisturizer is great. I also just found this amazing line in Europe called "Becca;" their stuff is amazing... I have to stock up when I go back because it isn't sold in the US!
