1.  Our Pledge

If you find a lower price on an identical item at a local or online retail competitor (including shipping and delivery fees), just bring us the competitor’s current ad or show a printout, photo, smartphone display or app, and we’ll match their price. Our price match policy doesn’t apply to certain brands; discontinued, clearance, used or damaged items. Limited to reasonable quantities. Can’t be combined with other discounts. We only price match against major national retailers like Sephora, Amazon, ULTA, Mays, and Nordstrom.

2.  What’s considered a local retail competitor when requesting a price match?

A local retail competitor for store purchases includes retail stores located in the same market of your local Planet Beauty store. Local retail competitors don’t include auction sites or third-party marketplace sellers. The store or Planet Beauty Customer Care must be able to successfully validate the price on the local competitor’s website or ad in order to complete the price match. If the price can’t be validated, Planet Beauty may decline to price match. 

3.  How do I request a price match?

Please talk to a sales associate or go to the Customer Service desk for help with your price match request in store. Price match requests from are handled by phone. Please call Customer Care at (949)-752-1885 for a price match request. After you tell us about the item and price you want to match, we’ll verify the information on a Planet Beauty device before completing the price match. 

4.  What qualifies as proof of a price when requesting a price match?

If you have the competitor’s advertisement, please present the entire printed ad or a photo/photocopy of the ad. Digital versions of printed advertisements are accepted. If you found the price online, please present the price on your mobile device from a qualifying competitor's website or A Planet Beauty sales associate will then verify the match using a Planet Beauty device. 

Price match will take into account any shipping and delivery fees. For example, if a competitor is offering an item at $50 plus $10 shipping, the match price will be $60. 

5.  Does an item have to be in stock to receive a price match?

Competitor items must be in stock on the competitor’s website at the time a price match is requested. Planet Beauty can’t honor a price match request if items are out of stock at a Planet Beauty store and or at the time of the request. 

6.  Can I apply the price match to a purchase of a large quantity of items?

Planet Beauty reserves the right to limit requests to reasonable quantities. If you’re looking to buy a significant quantity of a specific item, please visit your local store to see if a volume discount is available. 

7.  Are there any prices Planet Beauty won’t match?

The price match policy doesn’t apply to clearance, closeouts, discontinued products and damaged items. Planet Beauty also won’t match a competitor’s rebate offers, sales tax promotions, senior discounts, buy-one-get-one-free sales or advertising/pricing errors.

8.  How does the Price Match Guarantee apply to coupons?

Planet Beauty doesn’t match competitors' coupons. Customers can either use a Planet Beauty coupon or price match to a lower competitive price but not both. Planet Beauty doesn’t allow coupons to be used on a product that has a price match. 

9.  What should I do if I find an item or pricing error on

Planet Beauty reserves the right to change or update information and to correct errors or omissions at any time without prior notice. If you find an error, please call Planet Beauty Customer Care at (949)-752-1885. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

10.  Is there a time limit in which I can receive the Price Match Guarantee?

Yes, the price match offer is good for 30 days.
